Asahi-Shuzo Niigata

A brewery in Niigata Prefecture, entirely distinct from its Yamaguchi namesake, and producer of the Kubota brand launched in 1985. A pioneer of the light and dry tanrei karakuchi style, it has grown into one of Niigata's largest sake breweries. Its clean, refreshing sakes illustrate the region's brewing tradition on prestige lists.
