Bâtard-Montrachet
A white grand cru lying just below Montrachet, straddling the communes of Puligny and Chassagne. Its heavier, clay-rich soils give a broad, rich and fleshy Chardonnay, more immediately generous and ample than Chevalier-Montrachet. A sought-after wine for cellaring, it completes the trilogy of great Montrachets featured on the lists of prestigious gastronomic establishments.
