Caspar Badrutt
Caspar Badrutt, second son of Johannes Badrutt, extended the family's work in St. Moritz. Building on the former Hôtel Beau Rivage that he transformed, he opened Badrutt's Palace Hotel in 1896, its neo-Gothic silhouette overlooking the lake. The property became one of the most emblematic palaces of the Swiss Alps and remains run by descendants of the founding family.
