Gigondas
Gigondas is an appellation in the southern Rhône Valley, at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail, in the Vaucluse. It produces mainly powerful, structured reds dominated by grenache, completed by syrah and mourvèdre, along with some rosés and, since 2023, whites. The altitude and limestone soils bring freshness and backbone to wines often compared with their neighbours from Châteauneuf-du-Pape just to the west.
