Grands Échezeaux

A grand cru of Flagey-Échezeaux, smaller and more consistent than Échezeaux, renowned for structured and deep Pinot Noir. Its homogeneous clay-limestone soils give wines of long ageing capacity, often judged superior to its neighbour. It is among the crus farmed by the Domaine de la Romanée-Conti and sought after in luxury hotel cellars.
