Isadore Sharp

Isadore Sharp (born 1931 in Toronto), son of Polish Jewish immigrants, founded Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in 1960 and opened his first property on Jarvis Street in Toronto in 1961. He established the culture of personalised service that became the benchmark of the modern luxury hotel. His vision made Four Seasons one of the most admired luxury groups in the world.
