Kirk Kerkorian

Kirk Kerkorian (1917-2015), an American son of an Armenian fruit grower, is nicknamed the father of the Las Vegas megaresort. Three times he built the world's largest hotel, the International in 1969, the MGM Grand in 1973 and the current MGM Grand in 1993. Founder of MGM Resorts International, he shaped the vast scale of modern casino hospitality.
