Los Angeles Golden Triangle
['LA Golden Triangle', 'Westside triangle']
The Los Angeles Golden Triangle refers to the trio formed by Beverly Hills, Bel-Air and the Hollywood Hills, a perimeter where the historic ultra-luxury hotels of the Westside concentrate. Beverly Hills clusters most of the urban palaces in the market, Bel-Air shelters lush garden retreats such as the Hotel Bel-Air, and the Hollywood Hills welcome quieter boutique hotels overlooking the Sunset Strip. The triangle covers less than 5 % of the city footprint but concentrates 60 % of the metropolitan Forbes Five Stars rooms. A lesser-known feature : the Golden Triangle maintains a constrained hotel base because residential pressure curbs the creation of new properties, which explains an average ADR above 950 dollars and a yearly occupancy rate close to 78 %.
