Orgeat is a sweet, creamy almond syrup scented with orange flower water, with a marzipan-like profile. A signature ingredient in the Mai Tai and many tiki cocktails, it lends a coating richness and a distinctive nutty note. Traditionally made by steeping ground almonds in syrup, it balances the acidity of citrus juices in exotic mixed drinks.
