Paul Bocuse

Paul Bocuse, born in 1926 and passed in 2018, is the French chef who held three MICHELIN stars without interruption for 55 years (1965 to 2020), an absolute record. His house in Collonges-au-Mont-d'Or, L'Auberge du Pont de Collonges, lost its third star in 2020 in the 2020 selection, a historic event of the MICHELIN Guide. Bocuse carried the French Nouvelle Cuisine of the 1970s and created the Bocuse d'Or in 1987, a reference world cooking competition. The Bocuse d'Or is held every two years in Lyon and constitutes the major meeting of international competition chefs.
