Piña Colada


The Piña Colada refers to a Puerto Rican cocktail combining rum, coconut cream and pineapple juice, blended with ice into a smooth, creamy texture. Its creation is claimed in San Juan during the 1950s, notably by bartender Ramón Monchito Marrero. The national drink of Puerto Rico since 1978, it appears in the International Bartenders Association manual among the creamy tropical cocktails.
