Restaurant of the Year

Restaurant of the Year is the prize awarded by The World's 50 Best Restaurants to the number one ranked restaurant of the annual edition. This supreme distinction crowns each year a house that becomes for twelve months the epicentre of global gastronomic conversation. The prize attracts an international booking flow and often causes waiting lists to extend to six or twelve months. Recent recipients include Lido 84 (Italy, 2022), Central Lima (Peru, 2023), Disfrutar Barcelona (Spain, 2024), Sezanne Tokyo (Japan, 2025).
