Shirovasti

An Ayurvedic head treatment in which a sealed cap holds warm medicated oil on the scalp for an extended period. Shirovasti targets neurological disorders, severe insomnia and Vata imbalances lodged in the head. More intensive than Shirodhara, it falls under the supervised clinical protocols of palace retreats with an Ayurvedic medical centre.
