Sleep Concierge

['in-residence sleep expert', 'sleep specialist', 'hotel sleep coach']

The sleep concierge is a trained staff member who individually supports each guest in optimising their nights during the stay. The mission covers pillow selection from a dedicated library, programming of in-room circadian lighting, adjustment of the dinner menu to limit glycaemic impact, prescription of breathing routines and scheduling of a non-jarring wake-up. Hospitality Net 2026 frames this role as the visible embodiment of sleep tourism within upscale generalist brands, more accessible than a full medicalised programme. The American Hotel & Lodging Association 2024 names Park Hyatt New York as the pioneer of the concept from the early 2020s. A little-known fact: some sleep concierges receive ongoing training from partner university clinics, and several properties now require annual certification to maintain the internal qualification (Hospitality Net, 2026).
