The Peninsula Hong Kong

The Peninsula Hong Kong is a palace hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, opened on 11 December 1928 by the Iraqi-Jewish Kadoorie family, with the ambition of building the finest hotel east of Suez. Set opposite the Kowloon-Canton Railway terminus and near the ocean-liner quays, it earned the nickname Grande Dame of the Far East. It remains the flagship of the Peninsula Hotels group.
