Valet parking

['valet parking', 'voiturier']

Valet parking is the service of taking charge of the guest's vehicle on arrival and departure, generally provided by a dedicated employee in house livery. The valet welcomes the guest in front of the entrance, takes the keys and parks the vehicle in the hotel or restaurant car park. The service often includes quick vehicle return on departure, sometimes with quick wash or fuel refill depending on guest expectations. Valet parking has become an unavoidable standard of palaces and three star tables, notably Le Bristol, Plaza Athenee, Le Meurice, Ritz Paris and most Forbes Five Star (Source: Forbes Travel Guide standards 2026).
