Sky Lobby

Sky Lobby refers to a hotel reception placed on the upper floors of a tower, accessed by an express lift from the ground floor without passing through casino or retail spaces. The format took root in Las Vegas during the 2000s at Wynn and Mandarin Oriental, before being adopted by Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas which sets its lobby on the 23rd floor. The principle answers an experience goal : free hotel guests from the noise, smoke and crowds of casinos to offer a panoramic welcome. A lesser-known feature : the Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas lobby hosts a Tea Lounge open daily, an afternoon tea format adapted from Mayfair to the desert, with unobstructed views of the Strip.
